Celebrating festivals, events, occasion is a great way to understand one’s culture. At Anand Niketan children are taught to respect each and every culture. We teach them about their roots in this world and nurture the sense of belonging, sharing and accepting the fact that Existence is co-existence

Festivals unites people and they come together with the soul purpose of embracing each others, cultures and religion, food and traditions.

Anand Utsav

Anand Utsav is theme based annual project culmination. It is a wonderful myriad of presentations, displays, amazing art work, role plays, dances, decorations and food stalls. It is a month long project celebrated in the month of April year. Students visit various places related to the theme. Every Saturday evening some cultural events are being planned like Drama, Ek Shaam parent’s ke naam & Musical event.

Culmination

The proof of having learnt is your ability to express your knowledge. When children are able to explain what they have absorbed, we know that our job is done. To put this to practice, an Annual Culmination event is being organized for the students of Nursery to grade 4. Each student share his/her learning by way of individual presentation.

Project manager

Higher grade students organize their Annual day by themselves. For which Project Manager is selected from a large pool. The student candidates give interview. They come up with their theme, script and ideas

Farewell party

A grand farewell party is organized for students of the 12th standard. Students indulge in a lot of revelry by dancing energetically to the tunes of various songs. They also play games followed by a P.P.T. presentation by students of standard 11th of the years memorable moments of the 12th grade students. The program concludes with a DJ dance and a dinner.

A Best wishes party:

It is organized for the students of standard 10th. The 9th standard students give best wishes handmade cards to the students of 10th standard. It is concluded with a sumptuous lunch.
