Education at Anandniektan emphasizes on understanding and having respect for own and other people’s cultures, values and their place in contemporary society. It prepares the child to face the rapid changes in the world & prepares the student for the transition into the real challenges of day to day life.We at Anandniketan give equal importance to the curriculum as well as co-curricular activities. We believe that sports,hobby,martial arts and various art activities are also equally important in a student’s career.
The curriculum framework for each subject – English, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)and Social Studies(History, Civics and Geography),ICT (Information and Communication Technology) & Languages (Hindi 2nd language, Gujararti 3rd language and Sanskrit as 4th language)provide a clear teaching structure. Each curriculum framework is designed to engage learners in an active and creative learning journey.
Assessments & Evaluation Grade 6 to 8
Formal Assessments & Examinations are taken which are designed to assess learning & the ability of the student to solve real life as well as academic challenges. They are designed and conducted to give valuable feedback to our learners’ about their strengths and observe the areas that require improvement before they progress to the next stage of education. The tests are designed to bring out the very best & nurture a confident student who accomplishes avant grade learner performance through two cycles of weekly assessments, a half yearly evaluation followed by a formal annual examination .Each learner receives a statement of achievement and a diagnostic feedback report, giving the student & the parents detailed information about academic performance.
